A graduate of the San Diego Golf Academy, Bruce began his career in his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta at a very young age. He first worked at his home club, the Broadmoor Golf Club in Sherwood Park, starting the old fashion way cleaning clubs and washing carts. He eventually moved to the Sherwood Park Golf Club working in the pro shop at the tender age of 16 while completing his studies in the US. He then joined the Leduc Golf Club as his first Assistant Professional position under Mr. Greg Pidlaski before moving to the Okanagan in a similar capacity at The Kelowna Golf & Country Club. After a brief stint at the Golf Range under Mr. Irving Taylor, he joined Sunset Ranch Golf Club where he remained for 18 years as the Director of Golf/Head Professional. 2024 is Bruce’s 9th season as The Harvest Golf Club’s Head Professional. During this time Bruce also served four years on the PGA of BC Board of Directors.
When not spending time at The Harvest, Bruce enjoys spending time with his wife Carolyn and ever expanding number of grandchildren!
