Dan Werry – Executive Chef
The Harvest Golf Club is proud to welcome new Executive Chef, Dan Werry to the Food and Beverage Team. He was raised in Kelowna and discovered his love for cooking at a very young age. He was inspired to study the art of cooking at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in the Culinary Arts Professional Cooking Program.
His passion for food and desire to further his training lead him to Banff, Alberta, where he gained 16 years of experience working as chef de partie and sous chef, for The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. In addition, Dan was given the opportunity to travel and gain even more experience taking him to The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, in Arizona, and The Fairmont San Francisco, in California.
Providing Dan with the opportunity to return to the Okanagan where it all began for him, his decision to join The Harvest was an easy one. Using “good, local, fresh, simple food” Dan is looking forward with great anticipation to express his passion and experience through his menu. He feels very privileged to be doing what he loves and believes that his food is a solid interpretation of who he is.
