Director of Instruction
With 38 years of experience and member in good standing of the CPGA since 1971, French PGA since 1991 and New Zealand PGA since 2006. With a wealth of management experience, having been head golf professional at four different facilities over 30 years, and more recently as owner operator of Golf Horizons 2000, an elaborate golf centre that specialized in retail and golf instruction programs for all levels. Jacques joined The Harvest Golf Club in the spring of 2008, providing on course instruction through performance coaching. His teaching philosophy is quite simple “To provide personalized and customized instruction for all levels, first and foremost taking individual needs before specific swing philosophy.” Our goal at the academy will continue to provide a multitude of programs that caters to a wide range of ability level and experience at an affordable price, while making learning an enjoyable and valuable experience through customized instruction for each individual. Head Professional 

Originally from the Okanagan, Chad has over 15 years of experience in the golf industry and is a member of the CPGA since 2001. He has had the opportunity to work under some of the Province’s best professionals and most distinguished clubs including Point Grey Golf & Country Club in Vancouver, BC.
With a diploma in Business and certification in Professional Golf Management from Victoria’s Camosun College, Chad has the knowledge, experience and tools to deliver a quality and memorable experience for each and every one of his students.
As a Class “A” Head Professional, Chad has completed levels 1 through 4 of the CPGA’s Teaching and Coaching Program in addition to being a certified club fitter for manufacturers such as Taylormade, Ping and Callaway.
Chad has worked with high performance amateurs, juniors and beginner golfer’s alike. His simple, fundamentalist approach to the game makes it fun and easy to learn while still striving towards the goals for each individual.

Academy Instructor 

Born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta, Ethan’s love of golf began at the age of 11 where he became a member at the local Paradise Canyon Golf Club. After successful seasons as a junior amateur, Ethan joined the Golf Staff at Paradise where he obtained his Professional status. In 2009, Ethan completed the Professional Golf Management Program at Lethbridge College with the distinction of winning the program’s Scholarship tournament in 2007. Ethan is a welcomed addition to the Professional staff at The Harvest.
Ethan has worked with nationally recognized and award winning coaches over the years. These instructors have helped mold him into the Golf Professional he is today and those experiences are evident in his instruction to others.
Having obtained levels 1&2 of the CPGA’s Teaching and Coaching Program and the National Coaching Certification Program, Ethan excels at providing quality instruction to people of all ages and skill levels, while bringing a fresh and vibrant approach to the game of golf.

Matt grew up in B.C’s Kootenay region, playing his golf at an early age at Champion Lakes and the Cranbrook Golf Club. Moving to Burlington Ontario at age 13, Matt’s passion for golf has found him in winning circles in junior golf circuits and with a high success rate in professional events.
Matt turned pro this past year while working at Hidden Lake Golf Club which was the proud host of the Canadian Tour Qualifying School in 2009. Matt is studying at Niagara College for Business Admin: Professional Golf Management and he has attended the CPGA’s TCCP seminar designed for instructing beginner golfers.
Matt combines a strong passion for the game along with an intelligent eye for analysing the golf swing to make taking lessons enjoyable for his students. His priorities are centered on student satisfaction and making time spent at the golf course as pleasurable as possible. He understands the game is played to have fun and would love to help your golf experience be the best it can be!
