Executive Chef Michael Miller
Raised in the orchards and farmlands of Old Glenmore Valley here in Kelowna, Chef Michael has a strong connection to the Okanagan way of life. These roots have drawn him to the bounty of The Harvest Golf Club and its wide variety of orchards, vineyards, and gardens, which provides him inspiration at his fingertips. From young beginnings at a variety of valley restaurants, Chef Michael has grown and expanded his culinary craft, much as the valley itself has grown. As the industry became increasingly exciting and challenging, the young chef seized the opportunity to excel in local winery, restaurant and hotel endeavours. He completed his apprenticeship and culinary training at Kelowna’s Manteo Resort, and after eight years of learning and leading at the hotel level, he accepted the role of sous-chef here at The Harvest in 2012. Michael’s passion and dedication has led to his promotion as our new Executive Chef, and he brings his philosophy of high standards, professionalism, and respect for all things food to ensure an unparalleled dining experience for all of his guests.
