The Harvest Golf Club is experiencing some of the best playing conditions since our opening in 1994. The 7109 yard, Graham Cooke designed layout is in pristine condition for this time of year.

“We are very pleased with our current level of condition” says Head Professional Chad Scott. “Everything is very lush and full. Greens are speedy and rolling true and the fairways are producing perfect lies for approach shots.”

The Okanagan experienced a very mild winter that resulted in an early opening for 2010. A higher than normal rainfall total for May has also produced ample playing conditions. But Scott warns not to stray too far off the fairway.

“The downside of the lush conditions is a longer, thicker rough. So accuracy off the tee is at a premium. You’ll still find your ball, but your next shot will be a little tougher if you’re not on the short grass.”

With the weather warming up, The Harvest are seeing busier and busier days. The new 2010 rate structure allows for 365 day advanced bookings to guarantee your group a preferred time if you plan far enough ahead. Additional rates at varying price points during the day has given the golfer some options and most green fees now include power cart and range balls.

The Harvest Golf Club is situated on 254 acres in “downtown” East Kelowna. Fifty four acres are devoted to a working orchard featuring 5 varieties of apples including: Spartan, Macintosh, Royal Gala, Granny Smith and Fuji. An additional 5 acres of land produce Ehrenfelser, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wine grapes, used exclusively by Calona Wines to produce numerous award winning wine products.
